Holy Week • Guided Prayer Retreat
In Sunday’s sermon on Mark 3:13-19, Rev Philip challenged us to take up Jesus’ call for our lives. It is firstly a call to ‘fellowship regularly with God’, secondly a call to be ‘forged in mind and character’ and thirdly a call to ‘fulfill God-given tasks’.
As a special Holy Week initiative, to prepare our hearts and minds for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, we invite everyone to reflect and pray with the Scriptures three times a day.
How to use thE guided prayer meditations
On Monday, 29 March:
First thing in the morning, take 10 minutes to listen and pray with ‘Wake Up Strong’.
In the afternoon, take 5 minutes to listen and pray with ‘Pause in Your Day to Pray’.
Finally, before you go to sleep, listen and pray with ‘Don’t Go to Bed Wrong’.
Repeat this same rhythm on Tuesday to deepen your reflection and prayer over the text.
